STELLYNCrystalline Integral Waterproofing Admixture Unlike any other organic admixture STELLYN is a hydraulic waterproofing compound and being inorganic fully compatible with cementitious materials The cementitious matrix has lot of capillary voids in concrete. These are responsible for leakage as well as deterioration at a later stage once the water pressure in the capillaries build up The inorganic chemical group in water STELLYN will react with water and insoluble crystalline products are generated throughout the capillary pores of concrete This crystalline product is highly resistant to water and perform very well even under extreme conditions such as pressure or aggressive chemicals attack Application:

• STELLYN can be added to into concrete either in batching plant or mixing trucks as per the dosage by consultant

• The amount of water to be determined only after carrying out mix since STELLYN also has water reduction property along with crystallisation
• Water is an important agent to form crystalline process. Initially water will access to concrete through porous portion of concrete. STELLYN will then react with water and crystallisation process initiates 

POWRTHROWSustained Release Caplet for Corrosion Protection of Existing RCC Structures The reduction of service life of any RCC structure is basically due to corrosion of rebar. This process is very severe when structures are exposed to marine or chemical atmosphere. Powrthrow is an unique solution for maintaining the integrity of existing RCC structure from corrosion of rebar. By introducing Powrthrow into the concrete structures, the rate of corrosion of rebar reduces significantly & the release of active ingredient is over a considerable period of time. METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Drill 20mm holes into the concrete to a depth of 25mm and insert the Powrthrow caplets into it. Seal it off with EPCO^®-1010
• Spacing of Powrthrow caplets can be,

• Concrete substrate shall be free from loose particles, dust incrustations and solidified cement lines or other deposits
• The concrete surface shall be free from residual amount of mould releasing agents, curing compounds and oily residues using suitable organic solvents. Surface preparations shall be by using coarse wire brushes or by mechanical grinders attached with cup wire brushes
• MONOPOL^®-456-HB coatings shall be applied on fully cured concrete
• Surface be completely dried prior to application of MONOPOL^®-456-HB based coatings
• Apply the coating by brush, airless spray or Greco spray
• There shall not be any dust deposition in between the application of two coats. Wipe the surface with clean cloth in case there is dust deposition

Monopol 456 S
Silane Siloxane Penetrative Primer for Concrete and Masonry Monopol^®-456-S consists of reactive hydrophobic silane-siloxane with a very high degree of penetrative action. It works by penetrating into the pores of concrete and reacting with the existing water vapour to form hydrophobic polysiloxane lining to the pore capillaries. Application Procedure

• Thoroughly clean the substrate with the coarse wire brushes and wipe the dust, cementatious incrustation etc with a clean cloth or compressed air. Remove curing compound grease etc using clean water and detergents
• Apply by brush or spray
• Avoid application during high winds and hot hours especially in summers
• Subsequent coating can be applied immediately
• Keep the container away from direct heat or sunlight

EPIBOND-21-LP will give monolithic bond capable of transmitting high stresses. In addition, EPIBOND-21-LP possesses excellent water and alkali resistance and has long tackfree time of 120 minutes. This would help in laying concrete/mortar even after 120 minutes of application of bond layer. Application Procedure

• To obtain good adhesion it is necessary to have a clean and sound substrate, which can be obtained by grinding, wire brushing, chipping, sandblasting, etc.
• Mix EPIBOND-21-LP thoroughly in the prescribed proportion and apply on the clean and sound substrate
• Apply concrete / cement plaster / gunite on the tacky EPIBOND-21-LP layer which would be achieved approximately after 30 minutes of application and within two hours
• Best results are obtained when w/c ratio of the new concrete is as low as practicable

Free flow, shrinkage compensated, high strength microconcrete Molith^® MC SILVER is a free flow, shrinkage compensated, single component micro concrete used in high volume repairs of concrete structures. Application Methodology:

KP-CPCC  is a cement polymer composite coating system, a method of protecting the reinforcement bars against ravages of corrosion conforming to IRC:SP:80-2008. Application Procedure

• Application of Coating: The primer coat shall be applied to the cleaned surface as soon as possible after cleaning as above and before 4 hours, either by brushing or dipping
• Apply sealer coat after 60-90 minutes of application of primer coat
• Air curing for minimum 24 hours before the coated bars are put to use

EPIBOND-21Bonding New To Old Concrete EPIBOND-21 is used to bond fresh concrete to concrete that is fully cured. EPIBOND-21 will give monolithic bond capable of transmitting high stresses. In addition, EPIBOND-21 possesses excellent water and alkali resistance. Application Procedure

GRIPSUM PlusBonding Agent with Gypsum & plaster It is used as concrete bonding agent with gypsum & plaster. It dries to form a tacky coating, unaffected by alkalinity of cement and gypsum. On application, Gripsum Plus strengthens the bonding strength substantially and is not influenced by moisture allowing for use of GRIPSUM Plus on both interior and exterior applications. Application Procedure

• Remove all the loose or disintegrated concrete, dust, oil, or any other foreign material
• On a clean surface, apply a coat of GRIPSUM Plus, either with brush / roller or spray
• Allow to dry until tacky to touch (may take 10-20 minutes, depending upon the relative humidity)
• If the sufficient tackiness is not developed, one may apply a second coat of GRIPSUM Plus

EL-Monobond^®-200 is a two component non re-emulsifiable high molecular weight epoxy latex system conforming to ASTM standards. Application Procedure

• EL–Monobond^®-200 is mixed first under stirrer in the prescribed proportion and diluted with approximately 50% water of the total mix (refer technical data). It is then slowly added to the (cement + sand + 50% water) mix. Planetary or suitable mixers shall be used for efficient mixing

MONOPOL 160High Molecular Weight Polymer / Mortar MONOPOL^®-160 is a low viscosity high molecular weight thermosett polymer. Due to its low viscosity, cracks and honeycombs are filled upto full depth of concrete RCC / concrete roads. Application Procedure

• Surface preparation is an essential part of the application. It is necessary to clean and dry the concrete surface prior to use
• The concrete cracks or honeycombed surfaces shall be chipped to a minimum depth of 10mm in right angle to surface or as per requirement. The areas to be repaired shall be profiled to get rectangular or square shape with a right angle edge of 10mm
• Refer Technical datasheet for mixing
• Use it for gravity pouring / flooding within scheduled pot life
• Curing in air for 3-6 hours before allowing traffic to pass
• Follow stitching, stapling or grouting procedure whenever needed
• Repeat the same procedure for pot hole filling in concrete pavements, culverts and bridges and for levelling the surface as a wearing coat

MONOBOND SBR
tyrene Butadiene Polymer Latex Additive For Polymer Modified Concrete / Mortar / Grouts. MONOBOND^®-SBR is a modified milky white styrene butadiene polymer latex liquid additive used for bonding, waterproofing, repair mortar and concrete. The addition of MONOBOND^®-SBR enhances mechanical properties especially flexure, impact, tensile strength, shrinkage & permeability reduction and prevents cracking. It improves resistance against ingress of chloride ions, alkalies, sulphates significantly. Application Procedure

• Surface Preparation: Remove all loose particles, dust and dirt from existing concrete substrate using wire brush or scrubber. De-grease the surface by using compatible solvents. Cut the section in any geometrical shape for at least 10 mm depth or as required at extreme edges to avoid feathering & to provide strong bond. Roughen the surface with wire brush, light scrabbling or grit blasting for better mechanical anchorage. Expose corroded bars in repair areas & clean all loose corrosion scales. Apply Rust converting primer-Feovert followed by anti-corrosive epoxy coating system-IPNet RB 2 coats

For Bond Coat:

• In a clean container, add MONOBOND^®-SBR and Cement in equal proportion by weight. Mix it thoroughly to form a desired consistency. Apply the mix by brush on the surface of uniform thickness. Pour mortar or concrete over it within the tacky period of MONOBOND^®-SBR bond coat

For Mortar / Concrete:

• In a clean container, add Monobond SBR, Cement, and Sand in proportion 1:5:15 by weight. Mix it using suitable sized drum with heavy-duly electrical drill machine filled with spiral paddle mixer at slow speed of 400-500 rpm. Add water slowly until required consistency is achieved. Do not add excess water. In the same proportion mix add 10 mm aggregates upto 20% for preparing concrete. Place this mortar and concrete over the prepared surface

For Waterproofing:

• In a clean container, add Monobond SBR and Cement in 1:2 proportion by weight. Mix it thoroughly to form a thick consistency uniform mix. Apply the mix by brush on the water saturated surface of uniform thickness. Use this mix within pot life

Molith RM 
Ready To Use Single Component Repair Mortar Molith^®-RM is a ready to use single component cementitious mortar for repairing concrete structures. Method of Use:

• Clean the concrete surface to be repaired thoroughly, remove dirt, dust oil, loose concrete etc. Remove rust from exposed reinforcement and provide corrosion protection with Feovert & IPNet^®-RB where necessary
• Apply suitable bonding agent of EL-Monobond^® where necessary
• Mix Molith^®-RM powder with water in the proportion of 160 to 190ml water to 1kg of Molith^®-RM powder to get a cohesive mortar. Using planetary mixer is desired for optimum performance. Apply this to the repaired surface and trowel it to restore the surface. On difficult surfaces use EL-Monobond^® coat and where subsequent mortar finish is required over the repaired area scratch the surface with wire to create a mechanical key
